Zeqian Yu

Welcome

I am Zeqian Yu, also known as Zeq, a master's student in the Master in Economics: Empirical Applications and Policies at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). From the 2026–2027 academic year, I will join the MRes in Economic Analysis (path to PhD) at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

My research interests are in macroeconomics and international finance. I study policy-relevant questions using causal inference and modern quantitative tools, including machine learning.
